HATE DRUGS was founded in the summer of 2014 by David Caploe with the release of the self produced EP, "Rough Daze.” The remaining members (Josiah Caploe, Norman Lee, Adrian Diaz and John Irwin IV) joined the band shortly after and together released two more EPs, “Anna Grahm”(2015), and “Beach Weekend"(2016) which garnered hundreds of thousands of online listens. After a few west coast tours, the band started production on their debut album in late 2016.
After nearly a year of work with producer Cory Reyes, the band announced the release of their long awaited debut album, “Tsunami Soul II”, released September 29th, 2017.
HATE DRUGS is currently working on their sophomore album, set to release in the fall of 2018.
About Ritt Momney
Ritt Momney is the solo project of 19-year-old Salt Lake City native Jack Rutter.
Beginning as an indie rock band of high school friends, the band became a personal outlet after his bandmates left to mormon missions and his girlfriend left for college. In his bedroom, he began writing, recording and producing his upcoming debut LP, entitled "Her and all of my friends", in which Rutter grapples with loss, loneliness and a drift away from Mormon culture.
